The Breakfast Bunch is a group of volunteers who serve breakfast to any McKinley elementary school students (K-6) before school. The sites rotate throughout the school year. Participating locations are Zion Lutheran Church, Hungarian Reformed Church, and St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. Residents must have a permit before removing trees in the tree lawns. This no-fee permit can be obtained by writing the Tree Commission at 220 Third Street, Fairport Harbor, Ohio 44077. Tree trimming does not require a permit. Tree removal and trimming must be done at the expense of the homeowner. The Tree Commission does fund (100%) the planting of new trees. The Village will care for the new tree for one year, after which the resident is responsible for caring for the new tree.
